Lorna Hirsch, CEO

Lorna HirschLorna is an experienced and internationally recognised trainer and facilitator. She has a quiet and gentle authority that manages small and large groups to build safe learning environments. At the heart of this is a passionate approach of knowing the workshop content and valuing the wisdom in the room. Through respect, she engenders inclusivity and creates opportunities for people of different ages, cultures, beliefs, roles, lived experiences and geographical locations to share thoughtfully and acquire new knowledge.

Lorna has 25 years of experience working in suicide prevention. She has worked as a volunteer, project manager, and regional manager for not-for-profit organisations and companies and presently holds the position of CEO of the NCSPT (WA) Inc., which she co-founded in 2012. She has delivered papers, presented pre-conference workshops and been a panel member at national and international conferences.

Lorna recognises the needs of the participants and works to tailor the training to meet these needs. She holds a sincere commitment to the power of transformational learning at personal, organisational, and community levels and to building communities that care enough to work with suicide.
