Suicide Prevention Training WA, also known as the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Training (WA) Inc, has been providing internationally recognised suicide prevention workshops throughout Australia since February 2012. Offering only experienced professional trainers, we tailor workshops to meet the needs of participants Trainings available include LivingWorks Education’s suicideTALK, safeTALK, ASIST and suicide to Hope.

Ranging from 90 minutes to half a day, suicideTALK invites all participants to become more aware of suicide prevention opportunities in their community.
A two-day interactive session which helps caregivers recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide. Virtually anyone aged 16 or older, can become an ASIST-trained caregiver.
safeTALK is a half-day alertness workshop that prepares anyone over the age of 15, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper.
This full-day recovery and growth workshop is primarily designed for clinicians and other professional helpers who work with persons previously at risk of and currently safe from suicide.
